Al Gharafa & Al Sadd advance to Amir Cup 2026 finals

On 5 May 2026, the semi-final matches of Qatar Stars League for the Amir Cup 2026 were held between Al Wakrah & Al Gharafa at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium and Al Duhail & Al Sadd at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.

In the semifinals, Al Gharafa were the first to qualify for the finals by overcoming Al Wakrah on a penalty shoot-out 3-2.

Al Sadd crushed semi Lahore on an aggregate of 4-1, to proceed to finals.

Akram Afif netted a double for Al Sadd in the 9th and in extra time at 90+1. The second goal for Al Sadd came from Rafa Mujica in the 24th minute. Al Sadd contributed a goal in the 82nd minute through Hassan Al Haydos.

One goal, scored by Boubakary Soumaré in the 54th minute

Al Gharafa and Al Sadd will now face off on 9 May Al Gharafa vs Al Sadd2026 at the Khalifa International Stadium to claim the Amir Cup 2026 champions title.
